Cordova Capture Plugin Save to User Library

I have been working with the Cordova Capture sample app sample-capture and while it definitely captures the video and saves it to a tmp file, the file is not visible in the iOS camera roll or Android gallery.  From what I have seen this is a really bizarre and not well thought out limitation of the capture plugin.  Has anyone found a workaround to this so that users can view videos recorded with our Telerik apps from their camera roll/gallery?

In case anyone else runs into this issue.  That plugin does work really well.  Just be sure to test it directly by building to your device because the AppBuilder Companion app doesn't support custom cordova plugins.
