Hi,
I have a test script recorded with WebUI Developer (Trial version) which I can't seem to convert to code (using 'Convert all steps to code').
The cs file is created but it only contains the sample test method (looking for Telerik on Google). The Preview code command shows an empty window. I experimented quite a bit and narrowed the issue down to the presence of the following commands:
Verify 'DataGridUserProfileListDataGrid's row count 'Equal' '1' .
radmaskedtextbox: click with '0' offset action
If I remove all instances of the above, convert all steps to code works fine. When I put them back in, I get nothing.
Other scripts that don't have the above commands export to code without problems.
There are other radmaskedtextbox commands in the script (which input text into the text box) - but they don't cause any problems. It is only the one above.
Is this a known issue? Are there any other commands known to cause this issue? Is there a workaround/fix?
Thanks,
Shashi

We may indeed have a problem with the code generation of some particular test steps. I'm sorry about that!
Can you please send a project with the test you get this problem on (you can make a copy of the project and remove all the other tests before sending it)? That will help us isolate and fix the the code generation bug quickly and publish a custom build for you. Thank you!

Thanks for the quick response. Is it ok if the test cannot be run?
Shashi
Yest, that will help us too. We need the test before you convert it to code and fail. Thank you!

The problems in the code generation of those specific steps were identified and addressed. Those fixes will be included in any subsequent internal build or official release from now on.
