Hi,

I really like what you are doing with Data Virtualization in your new controls but I note that they are all 1D, i.e they will only scroll and virtualize data in one direction. Do you have any plans for a panel that will scroll in both directions but provide UI and Data virtualization?

I'm thinking of project (gantt) chars, spreadsheets, TV program guides (EPG) etc.

Many thanks

Hi Greg Duffield,

Thank you for your interest in Rad Controls for Windows Phone 7.

This is a common scenario, and we are thinking of addressing it but it will not be in the first drop of the controls. With Q1 and Q2.2011 we will work on building the must-have controls for the phone suite which includes virtualized grouping listbox - e.g. JumpList, Charts, Gauges etc.

After that we have ideas to introduce a multicolumn listbox, where we will need to have horizontal virtualization, but it is still too early to estimate and to give you concrete dates if/when this will happen.

Best wishes,

Okay, thanks for the prompt response.

Hopefully your multi column list box will be able to support the scenarios I mentioned, i.e. items of varying width and position scrolling horizontally and vertically.

Regards
