Hello,

I created a modelschema using Q2 2010 of ORM and stored the connectionstring in the web.config file. Now I changed the used database and updated therefore the connectionstring. Then I inserted a new table in the previous database and used the "Update from Database" action of the modelschema explorer. Doing it the ORM data Wizard showed me that a new table was found. I asked myself why the Wizard finds a new table although I changed the connectionstring in the web.config to the database which has not the new table and whether the ORM project stores the connection string not only in the web.config or app.config of the project itself.

thx for your help

Hi Ibrahim Imam,

This turned out to be a regression in the product introduced with the Q2 release. Normally the connection string in the configuration file should be respected. We will fix this right away.
To change the connection with the current version of OpenAccess, please just delete the connection string from the configuration file. When you open the Update from Database wizard afterwards, you will be prompted to select a connection. Then you will be able to select the new connection.
Please find your Telerik points updated for bringing this to our attention.

Kind regards,
Alexander
