When adding comments and saving as HTML, they don't show up when reopening the HTML in the RichTextBox and I don't see them in the raw HTML output.  Is there a property for this?

Thanks,
Jarred Froman

Hi Jarred Froman,

Comments are not exported to HTML as in HTML there is no such concept and no analogical element that comments can be mapped to. The formats that comments are persisted in are XAML, docx and RTF.

Thanks for the information Iva!  We have migrated over the docx format and can now save the comments successfully.  We are now testing out the new change tracking functionality.  Unfortunately, we are not able to see the change tracking information after it is saved and then reopened from the docx format.  Is there something we need to do on our end to show the changes?

Thanks,
Jarred Froman

Hi Jarred,

The docx import and export of the revision ranges has not been implemented yet. We have this item on our to-do list and it is currently scheduled for the upcoming service pack.

If everything goes according to plan, it will be possible to save and load documents with track changes from docx once Q2 SP1 is out (around the end of the month).

Hi

Is this already implemented in the latest version. I tried different things in order to get the comments done to the document, but I am being unable to retrieve them together with the text using the HtmlDataProvider!

Thanks

Hello Daniela,

As Iva stated in her first post comments are not exported to HTML as in HTML there is no concept for comments. This is the reason why such feature is currently not in our road map.
