Hi, when I use comboxfor(m = m.XXXX).Name("xxxName) my HtmlValidationMessageFor stops working, if i remove the name and set name through id attribute

.HtmlAttributes(

 

new {id = "xxxName" }) it works just fine. Any ideas?
