Hello,
I have a problem with Telerik MVC grid (ajax binding). My grid allows grouping, but not every column has grouping enabled. If I grab a column, move it just a bit towards grouping bar and release it (still my cursor is over column header), sorting is applied. I think that is a bug. If I start dragging column the only purpose for that is to move that column or to group by that column. Sorting shouldn't be applied in none of above cases.
Have you noticed that bug yet?

Dear Telerik Team,
it has been quite a while since this obvious and annoying bug was spotted. Will you fix that in internal build?

Hello Piotr,
Unfortunately this is known limitation of the grid control. The problem is that both handlers for grouping and sorting are attached on different elements, i.e grouping is attached on mouseup of the document while sorting on header click event.
Stopping grouping event propagation will not prevent header click(which will trigger column sorting) from being fired.
