Thank you for contacting us.

The current version of RadDataGrid supports grouping only programmatically. More information is available in our online documentation here. You can also check the Grouping example in our QuickStart demo which is part of the installation package (you can find it in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\RadControls for Windows 8 XAML Q1 2013\Demos\Examples\Grid\Grouping folder).
In our upcoming Q1 2013 SP1 scheduled for next week we will also introduce Grouping UI for the RadDataGrid control.
