Is there an example of how to use the ColorPicker and ColorEditor combined to provide a basic color selection capability with an optional advanced mode for custom colors?
With the current implementation of RadColorPicker there is now easy and elegant integration between these two controls. I have prepared a project in which the default template is edited and the ColorEditor is created on a Button Click. However, this will be easier to achieve in Q2 2012 in which we will introduce a re-factored version of RadColorPicker and its Template will be very simple - it will consist of RadSplitButton only. So please stay tuned for the update.

Is there an example on how to use this feature with the Q2 2012 controls? I am running Q2 2012 SP1 and cannot find how this is implemented. In the documentation a "Add color chooser dialog" is mentioned but I cannot find anything in the control.
Thanks,
James

Hi James,
The integration of these two controls will be demonstrated in our ColorPicker's FirstLook Demo in the upcoming Q3 Release. Currently , there is no easy way to achieve this goal.
So please stay tuned for the update.
