Hi,

I saw some controls like Expander and PanelBar that has this functionality to collapse and expand. However, in the demo, I did not find one that caters to what we need for our application.

Here is our requirement:

We have two controls (1) chart and (2) grid.  We want to place (1) chart inside a collapsible panel.  By default, the collapsible chart is collapsed while (2) grid is maximized just below the collapsed (1) chart.

_________
chart (collapsed)
--------------

GRID (maximized

When the chart will be expanded, the chart should occupy 50% of the height and the rest 50% will be occupied by the grid.  Collapsing the chart, will result to chart 0% and 100% for the grid.

Problems with controls:
Expander - the button look and feel is not in tuned with out application , we need something like panel bar's button look and feel
Panel Bar - expanding on panel... collapses the rest of the panels.. we need 50%-50% for chart and grid

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Adrian Pay,

check the panelbar example:
http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#PanelBar/FirstLook

In the panel that is location in the right of the example you have an option to choose betweem single and multiple expand. If you set it to multiple expand this will fit your scenario.
