I'm evaluating the product and on CMMI 2012 template there are some item type missing compared to TFS (i.e. Change Request). If I modify the template to add this element type, could create/modify a new element?, could be used in a board?, could be synchonized with TFS (after modifying synchronization template)?

At the moment you can't add those types to TeamPulse and sync them as we do not support custom types. I've created a feature request on our feedback portal. Please for http://feedback.telerik.com/Project/8/Feedback/Details/52290-add-custom-types-to-teampulse.
At the moment we had feedback type but we do not support sync for it. You can vote for feedback.telerik.com/Project/8/Feedback/Details/391-synchronize-feedback-items-into-tfs
