Is there a way for the user to clear the date once selected? We are using the control for an "optional" date field. Hitting "delete" when the text is selected doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

Hello lori,
Currently the control does not expose UI/gesture for clearing the date, however you can achieve the desired effect by setting the RadDatePicker.Value property to null. We will forward your feedback to our developers so they can consider it for one of the next versions of the control. We have updated your Telerik points as well.
