Open the Check Settings dialog and click 'Check'.

The dialog produces a 'beep' when the dialog updates.

Click on any of the lines in the top-right hand window and the dialog beeps.

Is this noise really necessary? Really, really?

Please, for the sake of my sanity, which is fragile at best, please make it stop.

Pretty please.

With a cherry on top.

Hello Stuart Hemming,

Indeed the beep is a bit annoying, especially when clicking on items in the list on the right.
We will remove all beep-ing from the Check Settings dialog for the next official release of OpenAccess.
