One comment I'm getting from the users of my app is that the tap-and-hold behavior of the trackball is really unintuitive. Is there a way to configure it to a simple Tap?

Currently the ChartTrackballBehavior only allows hold and drag. Since you're asking we'll consider adding a tap gesture in a future release.
