Charting Features Information Request

Hello,

I am new to Telerik Silverlight controls, and I need some more information before I can make the decision to purchase them.
Most of all I'd like to get some basic information about features that the charting component provides:

• Is there an implemented way of zooming a chart, like a line chart or bar chart, by mouse click and drag, or even by mouse wheel?
• Regarding the bar chart, is there a built-in way of rasterizing data points? (i.e. Rasterizing by cumulating both values 0.28 and 0.34 under the column 0.3)
• Is there a way of visualizing very large numbers of datapoints, like eg. 20000 points, in one line series with acceptable performance? No matter if it's done by only showing data with visible differences. (Although I'd still like to see more fine-grained points when I'm zooming into that same graph.)
• Is there a built-in way of overlaying two graphs by using the same x-Axis and two different y-Axes? (like one to the left and one to the right)

Hi Christian,

Thanks for evaluating our RadChart for Silverlight control.

Here are the answers of your questions:

1. Currently RadChart does not support zooming. We have plans to implement this functionality for our Q3.2009 version of the control.
2. No, at this time we have not planned to implement such functionality.
3. We have planned to implement support for large sets of data for the Q3.2009 release along with scrolling and zooming support.
4. RadChart will support multiple Y axis with our Q2.2009 release (expected in July).
