Our client has an existing Silverlight application that uses the RadChart control. We recently discovered the TrackBall feature that is included in the new ChartView control and would like to leverage this in our application. Do you have a guide for developers coming from RadChart to migrate to ChartView/RadCartesianChart? Is this considered an ‘easy’ change if you are a current RadChart user? What is the average time for migration in your experience?

Thank you

Hi Chad,

You can find a nice forum post about RadChartView here. Probably you will be mostly interested in the final part  -- there is no step-by-step migration path due to the different approach taken in the development of RadChartView. It would be more precise to say, that the code should be re-written, rather than migrated. If you have any specific problem, we will try to address it. Note that, as Giuseppe mentioned,  some of the RadChart features are not available in RadChartView yet.
