Changing the value of one column based on other

Hi, 

     I have a radgridview and i'm using ria services... I have been displaying 5 columns in the grid including the fields rate and dateofchange... I need to save the current date in the data base if rate field has been edited.... while submitting changes of the domain context I can insert current date to the modified items, but the problem is I need to do that only in case the rate field has been changed... Is there any way of achieving this..?

Hi,

 It will be better to handle this directly at your data level - not in grid.
