Is there a way to change the default loading image? I have check through the properties and tried to create a theme for the Cover Flow control and it does not seem to be possible. The images we are loading are coming from a central database and we would like to display a custom image while we are waiting for the images to load.

Hello Paul,

The coverflow doesn't support this functionality yet. We will surely consider implementing it if it appears to be a common client request.

Hi all,

As Silverlight3 is now available and it supports perspective transformations we decided to develop significantly enhance the current version of the CoverFlow control. The new version will support visual elements as content of the item. This will let you to customize the loading image as you like. This is the reason why we've dropped this feature. Thank you for contacting us.

Hi Santi,

This functionality is not available yet. The new version of the CoverFlow control should be released for the Q3 release.

Hi Gladys Huang,

We have removed the default loading image from our CoverFlow control. Now, instead of an image, the CoverFlow control is able to play animations by setting an attached property in the ItemTemplate of the control like this:

<telerikNavigation:RadCoverFlow.ItemTemplate>
          <DataTemplate>
              <Border BorderBrush="Black" BorderThickness="1">
                  <Image Source="{Binding}" Stretch="UniformToFill"
                          telerikNavigation:RadCoverFlow.EnableLoadNotification="True" />
              </Border>
          </DataTemplate>
      </telerikNavigation:RadCoverFlow.ItemTemplate>

To learn more about our new CoverFlow control check this blog post, since our online documentation is currently being updated.

All the best,
Hristo Borisov
