[Solved] CellEditTemplate gives error

When defining a CellEditTemplate without specifying DataMemberBinding (on the column) I get a runtime error of object not set to instance blah blah when you put the column in edit mode. Though I can understand the cause of the error it is very unhelpful. Especially when an EditTemplate may not even have any databinding in it. Perhaps you could consider changing the error message if you can't eliminate the requirement?
