Hi Henry,
In the previous versions of RadPageNavigation we provided a SlideTransition animation. However, in version 2008.3 1105 (Q3 2008) we support only Default Transition, Fade Transition and ITransition interface. I hope that this is not a major show-stopper for you.

Hi there,
The SlideTransition is no more available in RadNavigation. However, you can easily write your own slide effect implementing the ITransition interface.
Please find attached a sample project demonstrating how to write your own SlideTransition effect and how to use it in the PageNavigation. This is one way to write the SlideEffect but you can change the duration, orientation etc. as well as the whole animation of the transition as you prefer.
I hope this answers your question.

HI team, a quick pointer please!
As I know you guys are onto bigger and better things now architecturally should we be using the RadNavigation framework for new projects or is that likely to be deprecated - should I perhaps use the new built in Silverlight 3 navagation framework?
(if the former then the sample code many have requested here would be good.
Thanks for the pointer
Ewart.

Hello ewart,
For the moment we keep the Navigation framework only for backward compatibility. This may change in future if we decide to extend the SL3+ navigation framework from Microsoft.
In short - for new projects it is recommended to use the SL3 navigation framework provided by the runtime.
