Hi,

I am getting an issue where I cannot upgrade or uninstall my currently installed version of Telerik OpenAccess. It appears that this issue is occurring because I am missing an assembly 'Telerik_Data_Access_Free_Edition_2014_3_1027.msi ' but I do not have a copy of this available.

Any help would be appreciated.

The complete error log is as follows

Hi Max,

Thank you for reaching us.

I have investigated the installation log and it seems that there could be some issues with your system and with Windows Installer Cache in particular.

You can diagnose this by reviewing and following the steps provided by Microsoft in the Missing Windows Installer Cache Files Will Require a Computer Rebuild article.

As a suggestion, could you please try the fixes in the following articles and check if the issue still exists:
We are looking forward to your response.

Thank you for your response. The second link in your post (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/en?wa=wsignin1.0) resolved the problem.

Much appreciated.
