I am using the AppBuilder in free trial period. When I click an html element in debug mode I cannot see the styles applied to it. I have attached an image of what I see.

Is this the default behavior for Trial version? or am I missing any settings?

PS: I have enabled "Enable CSS source maps "

Hi Jayanga,

There are no such limitations for Trial versions. The issue could be related to wrongly cached simulator files. To check this, please navigate to the %localappdata%\Telerik\BlackDragon\Cache folder and delete all of its content. Note that, all AppBuilder clients must be turned off before that. After you have deleted the cache, please check if the simulator will show you the CSS.

Also, I must note that with the yesterdays AppBuilder 2.5 release we introduced a critical bug within the simulator that prevents the correct rendering of CSS transitions. The good news however is, we have scheduled a hotfix for this for the upcoming week.

I hope this helps.

I think it has to be with the AppBuilder 2.5 release because I've removed everything from %localappdata%\Telerik\BlackDragon\Cache and I'm still not able to see the styles.

Would the Telerik Appbuilder software be automagically updated once you release the hotfix this week or do we have to update it manually?

Thanks for your help.

Hi J,

When the hotfix is released, you will be notified that an update is available and you will need to restart the client in order to apply it. So, the answer is yes, AppBuilder should update automatically on your side.
