After a crash of the portal I had to re-install RadEditor (SharePoint 2003).
Now I see the webpart in the Virtual Server Gallery but wehn I try to add it to the site I get this error message
"Cannot complete this action. Please try again."
Any idea what is causing this.

Hello Kurt Braendle,
Please find in our online help the uninstall RadEditor for MOSS article and make sure that you uninstall the Editor properly. Afterwards check if the problem will persist and, if it does we will be glad to help you further.

The issue is different from what your answer supposes.
I have installed RadEditor for Sharepoint 2003. I now get the "Cannot complete this action" error message in the WebPart Menue when I want to drag and drop the RadEditor web part onto a page.
I de-installed and re-installed several times now. I checked the webconfig for
impersonate = true and the right entries for the webpart. Checked GAC. I tried stsadm and even gacutil.
Nothing seems to work. After re-install I still get the error.
Any idea how to solve this is appreciated.

Could you please inform us if there is any additional information with the error that you receive. Also please check if you will experience the same issue if you use the FireFox web browser.

I checked in Firefox. It's the same issue and error message.
"Cannot complete this action" is all n infromation I get from the system.

There were permission issues on the database. It was not possible to write into the database during installation.
It's fixed now.
