[Solved] Cancel TaskEdit

Hi,

Is it possible to cancel en Edit after the TaskEditing but before the TaskEditied?

I want to do this in the case the user has enter a start date that is greater than the end date since this can't be displayed in the Timeline and is not possible.

Hello,

The correct approach of canceling the made changes to the tasks in the RadGanttView control is to use the TaskSaving event which is triggered before the TaskEdited event and in that event set the e.Cancel to true.

Currently we have an existing issue that could cause some unexpected behavior when using this approach and the issue is logged in our Public Issue Tracker System where you can track its status.

This works but as you said, there is the problem when you click outside the cell and the old value is kept

As this is a new issue it is not included in the planing for our next official release of RadControls.

We will do our best in order to have a permanent fix for this issue as soon as possible.
