Hi, I was wondering if the RadMap or any other tool for that matter, provides the functionality to write a Shapefile using the geo data loaded in the RadMap (including a dbf File).
Our project provides the functionality to Load a shape file and then EDIT the form of the shapes. Add a few ways to do that, some changes to the data read from the dbf file and ... thats almost it :)
So we need a way to save the changes into new Shapefiles, along with their data. /dbf/
I looked for topics, documentation and etc, and found nothing. I am really pleased by the ShapeFileReading capabilities of the component and I am really hoping that the opposite is also possible.

Hello Martin,

I am afraid saving the data is outside of the RadMap scope. The control targets map and shapes visualization, but not saving shapes back. To avoid any misunderstanding I should say that RadMap doesn't save any data but just shows map shapes represented in one of the following formats: ESRI shape file, KML, WKT/WKB. So, it is on your own to create routines which will store map geometries to ESRI shape file.
