Hi,
No matter what sample application or piece of demo code I find on the these forums I can't get the MediaPlayer to play a .asf file from a http web address.
I can't actually get any file to play even local files, I just get the "Failed to open media!" error but no indication as to why it failed.
Can someone provide me with a Silverlight 5 example of how to open a .asf file over http?
Also, could you tell me how to get more detailed information on what has caused the "Failed to open media!" message, is there some way to get extended exception details to allow more extensive diagnosis?
Thanks for any help as this is driving me crazy!
