Any issues? Have migrated domains and some users have updated windows usernames, want to preserver histories in Teampulse of who did what and don't want to create new user for same person.

Could you send me script to do so if safe.

Cheers
Tony

Hi Tony,

I apologize for the late response.

Changing only the domain and the username of couple of users should not cause any issue but I highly recommend you to create a backup of your database before running the script that I have prepared in the attached archive.

Notice that you have to edit the script a little bit:

  1. Change <OLD DOMAIN> with the correct value
  2. Change <NEW DOMAIN> with the correct value
  3. For all the users with changed usernames add values following the pattern ('<old username>', '<new username>')
I have added comments in the script to help you with that.

Updating records in the database in order to keep correctly the history of the items is more complex though. I would ask you to send us the backup of your database so we can try these scripts to confirm that they will work properly before sending them to you.
I would also ask you to send us the updated script after you edit it along with the backup of your database

I'm looking forward for your response
