I'm unable to remove records from a db I created in the simulator. Is this a known issue with the simulator?

Hi Susan,

We are not aware of such an issue. Moreover, our SQLite sample seems to behave as expected in the device simulator in the Windows client, in the in-browser client, and the extension for Visual Studio.

Do you mind providing more details such as a code sample and in the simulator in which client are you experiencing this issue so we can investigate further? Thank you!

I found later (in Stack Overflow) that one can't delete databases from SqLite in Chrome:
"4.1 Databases - Each origin has an associated set of databases. Each database has a name and a current version. There is no way to enumerate or delete the databases available for an origin from this API."
Since I'm running the emulator in Chrome, I was thinking that it wasn't possible.

Hello Susan,

While the device simulator in the in-browser client does have some relation to WebKit, we are constantly working on improving and modifying it and introducing support for the various features that our users might require.

As I explained, using the SQLite plugin (which in the simulator resorts to WebSQL) works as expected. All you need to do is clone the sample and run it in the simulator to check how it works.

Let us know if you need further help. Thanks!
