Thank you for your valuable feedback.

Indeed, there is a problem with styling the RadCalendar on an application level on Windows 8.1 . I have addressed this issue to our development team and I will let you know when we have more information regarding this matter.
As a workaround, I can suggest you style the control in the same page that it is defined.
