[Solved] Calendar Selectors

I have implemented both the Style Selector and the Template Selector.  I switched from using the Style Selector to the Template Selector.

I want to use the Style Selector for the calendar when display the days of the week "Sun", "Mon"...
and use the Template Selector for the days of the month:  "1", "2"...

Can they be used together?   If I only set a linear gradient on the days of the week on the style selector and only set the Text in the template selector.  Will they work together.  Will I then set tranparent solid brush for everything else in the style selector and do whatever I want in the template selector including setting the background in the template selector?

My question is,  How well do the Style and Template Selectors work with each other?

The reason I ask is because neither one seems to get me all I want.  The Template Selector gets me closer but I see lingering white space in bad locations.  And of course, the Style Selector does not get me close enough.  Am I missing something in Silverlgiht.  Should I be able to use the Style Selector to do all I need or the Template Selector to do all I need?  Or do they work together?
