The calendar control appears when I run my app on my iPhone device, but in the simulator, it is invisible, despite the control existing when breaking in the debugger.

What am I missing?

It hadn't appeared on the device, but I install Telerik's packages using nuget. So, perhaps there are some incorrect packages still in the simulator.

I'm using Visual Studio Mac instead of the Windows version and now the calendar appears in the simulator.

Hello Ian,

As you suspected, this was likely due to the build missing some dependencies. To ensure that they're available the next time, after you add packages do a PCL & and iOS project Rebuild so that Xamarin properly builds the projects in the right order and has the latest code/dependencies.
