[Solved] Built-in localization

Hello,

I would like to know if the gridview has a built-in localization for italian language.

I noticed the the scheduler, with also the views definition buttons, it's localized in italian, but not the grid, is it right ?

Hello Andrea Rapuzzi,

Unfortunately, for the time being RadGridView does not have built-in localization in Italian. You may take a look at this article for a reference on the resource keys you need in case you decide on translating the strings.

I found others problems with the localization right now ...

I have an application with different telerik controls in it and I have the following situation

Language it :
- RadAlert localized
- Scheduler localized
- Grid not localized (just explained by you)

Language fr :
- RadAlert not localized
- Scheduler, view definitions buttons, not localized, calendar localized
- Grid localized (thanks to the built-in)

Could you tell me if there are issues with the fr language ?

Hi Andrea Rapuzzi,

Unfortunately, we have some gaps in our localization files, but we do our best to fill them up accordingly. I am sending you the full list of key-value string resources so that you may translate them consistently. Furthermore, you may take a look at this forum thread for a reference on the French localization of the Scheduler. It does contain a sample translation of the resources for this control provided by a client.
