Bugs in Q2 2009 release demos

    Following demos does not work at all (string formatting issues & regional settings?)
    Chart / Integration / Chart and Gridview
    gives Just-In-Time Debugger::
    System.FormatException: Input string was not in ca correct format at
    System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, ......)
     and
    xxxxx at System.DateTimeFormat.GetRealFormat(String format, ........)

    Hi Janne,

    I've just tried both demos however everything worked fine on my end - you can find two screenshots attached.

    Any more info about your environment will be highly appreciated.

    IE8 and FF3.5, "Regional and Language Options" in Windows xp control panel set to "Finnish"

    If I change "Regional and Language Options" to "English (United States)", everything works ok.
    So it seems it is has something to do with string formatting & regional settings.

    Hi Janne,

    Thank you for elaborating on this.

    Indeed we were able to reproduce the regional settings problems you described and the fixes will be part of the official service pack release scheduled for the end of the month. If these issues are showstoppers for your project, you will be able to download fixed binaries later today as well via the "Latest Internal Build" option from your Client.Net account.

    We have updated your Telerik points for the reports as well.
