Hello,
I have an issue where I have an unpinned dock-panel docked to the left. If I mouse over its tab it will slide open, and if I mouse out it will slide close (or auto-hide). The problem occurs when you place the DatePicker component inside of it. If I mouse over the panel tab it will slide open, and if I click on the DatePicker it will drop down to reveal the calendar, but as soon as it does the panel automatically closes, right in the middle of when I was supposed to be selecting a day from the dropdown.
On a side note, I also notice that unpinned panels are quirky; they do not always auto-close when you mouse out. Even clicking outside of it doesn't work at times, so I have to click inside the panel, then click outside for it to close.

Unfortunately, I could not reproduce the problem you have with DatePicker, placed inside of unpinned panel. It will be great If you could send me a sample project to look at it.
About auto-hide behavior of unpinned panel - an unpinned panel will auto-hide when another element had the focus and when mouse cursor is out of hit area of the panel. Both conditions must be met.

Hi ,
I too facing the same problem.
I have a popupscreen in the Dock Panel. when i select value from dropdown of the popup screen, the popup screen is disapperaing. And the panel is getting unpinned. I want to retain the popup screen when pannel is unpinned. Can anyone help me. Its Urgent.
