Browse uploaded files

Hi, the upload component is fantastic, however is there a way to have a server based browse files option. We have users who upload records which are then put in separate folders. Therefore above the upload control we want ot be able to show them what files have already been uploaded into the folder.

Thank you for this feedback on the RadUpload control. It's highly appreciated.

Now, straight to your question:

If the folder is initially empty, you can follow the approach used in our Image Gallery demo to display each uploaded file after it's saved in the TargetFolder. In your case you can also save the file name in a List and persist that list so that you can reload it if needed.

However, if the TargetFolder has files which you need to display before even starting the upload process of the RadUpload control, then you can use a web service (read more) to save the names of the files in a list and return it to the client to be displayed.
