I host my telerik controls in \code\dlls\telerik.

When I open blend, I get an HRESULT E_FAIL on anything that uses Telerik controls...

So, I debug and nothing... But I see its trying to load files from c:\program files(x86)\Telerik\designer

SO, I renamed the telerik folder (so it might possibly pick up the designer files in \code\dlls\telerik\designer.

It worked.
I hope this helps someone.

If you move your telerik files around, be careful. There seems to be some problems in Blend if they aren't where they are expected. Note that runtime and VS2010 design time were not broken. Also, the VS debugger refused to step into Blend. I don't know if it is related, but oh well :)
