Hello,

I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I'm unable to find an answer. When a user clicks on the calendar icon on the date picker the calendar popup is shown. If the user then clicks on the selected date the calendar popup is closed, but the date picker does not close, and the selected date value is not set.

I can understand not resetting the selected date since technically it is not changing, but functionally when a user clicks on a date I expect date picker to close. Is there a way to force the calendar to close?

Thanks,

Ryan Brown

Hi Ryan,

I wasn't able to observe the described behavior in our online demos - the calendar is closed as expected when clicking on the SelectedDate. I've attached a short video to show my attempt, am I missing something?

Best wishes,

My apologies; this is an error in my code. I have a datepicker in a popup control which closes when the selected date changes. Since the selected date is not updated if the currently selected date is clicked on, the popup does not close and I still see the datepicker. I'll have to find another event to trigger the close on. Thanks for the quick response.
