Basic Chart Problems

Hi,

1. How can i change background color of the chart ItemLabels.
2. How can i fix the size of the chart so that it wont change the size when data varies.
3. Ii dont get the ItemLabel for the longest bar displayed on the charts?

Hi Vinay,

Onto your questions:
1. You should follow this topic where it is described how to change the default style of the Series Items Labels.
2. I assume that you don't want to change the Range of the XAxis as the ChartArea itself doesn't change it's physical size when the data varies? This can be achieved if you set custom range for the XAxis. For the purpose turn off the AutoScale property and set MinValue, MaxValue and Step.
3. Can you provide us a sample image of what do you get as result so that we will be able to suggest you how to make the Label for the longest bar visible?

Hi Vinay,

The reason for this is cause there is not enough space for the top-most and bottom -most Series Labels to be shown. You should increase the Top and Bottom Margins of the ChartArea to have all Labels fully readable.
