Hello,

I'm building an app using the barcode plugin, which has been working fine.  The problem I have is one that also occurs in the sample barcode app.  The barcode plugin works exclusively in landscape orientation so when it closes your app has been forced into landscape mode.  If your Android phone has screen rotation turned off, you're stuck in landscape.

Is there a way to force your app to stay in portrait or landscape?

Thanks,
Josh

Hello Josh,

There is a way through project properties. Go to General > Supported interface orientation and set your app to support Portrait only.

I built an app with only portrait supported orientation and Barcode scanner did not seem to change the orientation of the WebView. (Tested on SII v2.3.3 and Galaxy Note 2 v4.1.2).

Thanks for the reply.

This worked, though I swear I tried it before and it didn't work.  :)  This time I removed the app from my phone and rebuilt/deployed and it worked as expected.
