Would be nice to have some way to create or just use a control/graphic/banner that is using the colors of the current theme/skin.  And if you changed said theme/skin this control would change itself as well...

Can you explain the idea in more details? I am not sure that I've got the point. Is it something like banner rotators?

I was just thinking of making a banner control, just a graphic that spreads out at the top.  But then I realized I'd have to nail down my skin & theme before I could make anything like that because I didn't have a set color scheme.  The whole point of skin/themes is that you can switch them up and everything still looks fine.  But if one has a graphic with color then it would be incompatable with the scheme...any theme/skin changes would just make the graphic look out of place.

Not sure which product line you were referring to, but I guess you meant something like the skin chooser dropdown in the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Online Demos (check "Vista Skin" in the top right corner of the demo).

The suite contains the RadSkinManager control, which I believe is what you're looking for.
