Does OpenAccess ORM implement any transient fault handling when used against a SQL Azure Database? Such as the ReliableSqlConnection in Microsoft.Practices.EnterpriseLibrary.WindowsAzure.TransientFaultHandling.SqlAzure?

    Hello Michael,

At the moment OpenAccess does not implement the transient fault handling framework from Microsoft although this is on our plans. I cannot give you an exact time-frame for that at the moment.
    We regret the inconvenience caused.

    All the best,
    the Telerik team
OpenAccess ORM Q1 2013 is out featuring Multi-Diagrams, Persistent Data Stream Support and much more. Check out all of the latest highlights.

Did anyone in this thread ever figure a solution for implementing Transient Fault Handling for SQL Azure with the Telerik OpenAccess ORM? We are starting to leverage SQL Azure as well and think this functionality would help resolve some of the SQL connection issues we are having.  Any thoughts?

Thank you for adding a feature request on our Ideas and Feedback portal.

At the time present, an implementation in this direction is not placed firmly on our road map, although, we are planning an investigation on the subject. Based on its outcome, and on the community's interest in such a feature we would consider the most feasible options.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

OpenAccess ORM is now Telerik Data Access. For more information on the new names, please, check out the Telerik Product Map.
