You might experience a "Latest version retrieval did not succeed. Possible invalid credentials." message with the Get Latest Version dialog (started through the Project Management Wizards).
The problem is caused by a glitch in the Visual Studio Extensions related to the retrieval of the Telerik MVC UI Extensions by Open Source License holders. For the time being automatic download is not available for the OpenSource licensed Telerik MVC UI Extensions (download and upgrade manually the MVC extensions using the direct download from here). It is fully functional for the Developer License holders though.
We will improve the behavior of the dialog for one of the next major releases of the suite.
UPDATE:
The Visual Studio Extensions shipped in the Telerik MVC Extensions Q2 2011 release have been updated and resolve the issue by asking you about the type of license you own, thus enabling you to use your Open Source license:
