Hello.

I have simple question: is it possible to use auto range for the scale (without set min and max values) - as it works fine for charts (line, bar etc.). Or may be there are some methods that can calculate actualmin and actualmax values for the min and max values (as it doing in the charts)?

If no - do you plan to include this function to the gauge?

Thanks, Anatoly.

Hello Anatoly

Unfortunately this feature isn't available in the current version of the gauge control. The change you requested is not in our plans for Q2 2012. I will make sure it is reconsidered when discussing our future plans,
but I am afraid no certain time frame can be given at the moment. By the way, could you, please explain the scenario where this functionality is needed?

the scenario is veri simple. data range for the gauge could be very different, so we can set some hardcoded values for the min and max properties. Now we for the min and max we set minimum and maximum from our value, but in this case we have not very beautiful labels, i.e. 90 is min and 165 is max, we show 10 labels so labels are 90, 98,33, 106,67 etc.

Hello Anatoly,

Thank you for clarifying the scenario. The feature looks useful.
We have created a PITS item to implement it in future releases of our control. You can track implementation of it using the following link:
