Hi,
Audio recording working i io7,ios5 and all apple devices and samsung android mobile but its not working in nexus any one help me in this issue.
can we create our own recoding s/w if i use http://cordova.apache.org/docs/en/3.0.0/cordova_media_capture_capture.md.html#CaptureAudioOptions this is opening existing recordplayer. can we create our own record player any sample to create our own record player with play,record and pause buttons.

Hello Sumalatha,
According to your inquiry description, if the Capture works on Samsung Android device, the only reason why it would not work on Nexus (clean Android) is missing software to handle the audio recording.
In our local tests on Nexus 4 phone, clicking on the Audio button starts the built-in Audio recorder. However the same test on Nexus 7 tablet gives an error, because the tablet version does not have a preinstalled audio recorder. You should manually install audio recorder from the Play Store and make it default app.

ok if default recorder there then only we can record right? one more clarification can we create our own recorder and make it as a default recorder? is there any samples like that?

Hello Sumalatha,
Yes, the Cordova Media API relies on a default recording app as most devices have such. Creating your own audio recorder is too much hassle to do for your app, but if can be done by using input type="file". Check out the following SOF forum thread for more information.
