I'd like to see either rich text capability on the details field for entering tasks, or the ability to insert attachments to the task itself (that would turn up in the attachments screen in TFS work items / dashboards)

Any progress on this? Can we add them as custom fields somehow?

Thank you for your interest in TeamPulse.
Unfortunately text custom fields that could be created are plain text. Adding a rich text as a custom field might be a future improvement to the existing feature.
I encourage you to visit our feedback portal and add or vote for the features that you would like to have in TeamPulse.
