If I read the documentation and blog posts correctly, it appears that the new Q3 2009 release has Beta-level support for some RadControls in MVC Views, however, following along with the documentation, specifically the Getting Started page in the Integrating RadControls in ASP.NET MVC, I've run into a show-stopping error that occurs every time.
Step 2. of the Getting Started tutorial indicates "Drag and drop a RadScriptManager control from your Visual Studio toolbox (or add it declaratively) to a view page to a master page." Immediately upon dropping the RadScriptManager onto the View page surface in the code editor in VS 2010 Beta 2, Visual Studio states that an error has occured and closes instantly. Every time.
I've verified that all appropriate sections of the web.config have been configured with the HttpHandler/Handler needed by the RadScriptManager as indicated and the project references Telerik.Web.UI. Also, no relevent information is logged with details about the nature/cause of the error that forces Visual Studio to shutdown.
Am I missing something, or failing to understand the functionality available at this time surrounding the use of some RadControls in ASP.NET MVC projects? Any pointers to further information or documentation that might help would be greatly appreciated. And I'll be looking forward to any upcoming blog posts and/or tutorials about using the Q3 2009 ASP.NET AJAX Controls and the Telerik ASP.NET MVC Extensions...

Unfortunately I could reproduce the depicted issue. Could you please provide a video which shows exactly the erroneous behavior.

Thanks for the response. This error was simply caused by my lack of understanding, which was resolved with the help of some very insightful blog posts and other documentatin provided by the great staff at Telerik...
