"artoftest.runner has stopped working" error occurs all the time when I'm trying to execute tests via QuickExecution

Hello Sergey,
  first off upgrade to the latest internal build, you can download it here:
http://www.telerik.com/downloads/nightbuildfiles/bcbc/Telerik.WebUI.TestStudio.Dev.2010.3.1607_Trial.msi

Let me know whether the problem persist. If it does then please give me as much info as possible so we can begin analyzing this. If possible, please record a Jing video of the problem.

I am receiving the error message when trying to run a simple test using firefox.     I am currently doing a trial and when running a test to login to our application using firefox is when it fails.   The same test on chrome and ie work fine.

Hello Karla,

I am very sorry you are running into this problem. Since you are still trying out the software, I'd like to first make sure it isn't a bug we've already fixed in our latest version. Please download our latest version from the website, 2011.1.502 and try that. If you continue to have this problem we'll dig deeper. There are a LOT of new features and bug fixes versus the 2010.3.1421 version you currently have installed.

Hello Cody,

Well I ran into the same problem as Karla. Please see attached the screen. I tried to capture a test and run it as a load test. I googled this issue and found this http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/231638-clr20r3-program-has-stopped-working.html so I also attached the file as described. I also attached TestStudio log. 

FYI I use TestStudio Standalone version 2012.2.1420 which should be the latest one if I`m not mistaken.

Hello Petr,

Yes here the crashing module seems to be the same but please note the issue described here is for quick execution while your issue is when executing a load test. Having the same issue doesn't mean that the cause is the same, such issues need to be reproduced in dept with local reproduction on our side. Is that intermittent issue or this is happening each time when you run load test? Also please note that the issue was reported 2 years ago with quite older version of Test Studio, we did not have the load testing functionality at the time when this issue was originally reported by Karla.

Hello Ivaylo,

When I searched the forum I found this issue. When I saw the descrioption I had a feeling that I`d faced the same issue. That`s why I posted my comments here. I also noticed that the ticket was originally opened 2 years ago. However, I have the newest version of TestStudio so I was wondering why I faced the same issue with much newer version.

Yes, the issues is only intermittent and it`s hard to describe when it happens. I`d say after a longer time of using TestStudio, ie. running a couple of tests, setting different things, etc. I don`t know if it`s not connected to http://www.telerik.com/support/pits.aspx#/details/Issue=13372 somehow. I think TestStudio becomes clogged after a while so then I can face this issue. It might also refer to this ticket http://www.telerik.com/account/support-tickets/view-ticket.aspx?threadid=672958 regarding TestStudio crashes.

We're experiencing the same "artoftest.runner has stopped working" issue during scheduled runs. I'd like to read more about the issue, but threadid=672958 is dead. Please provide an active link to that thread. Thank you.

Hello Dennis,

This is very old thread and our Scheduling functionality no longer calls the ArtOfTest.Runner as described below. 
Can you please open a Support ticket in regards to the issue you facing with the application logs of the Remote machine, plus a brief description of the project, setup and application behavior.
