Hi, I just tried JustTrace and encountered (multiple times) the same error. Details below :

JustTrace version Beta 2011.1.427.5
Environment : Windows XP 32bit, Visual Studio 2010, behind a proxy, and using Firefox (crashes with IE too)
Tried to debug an ASP.NET Telerik WebSite project with a static port.
Have RadControls for ASP.NET and WinForms, and JustCode installed, as well as Productivity Power Tools.

I attached 3 images : the last 2 are when I debugged the System.ArgumentNullException I got when trying JustTrace.

Here's the stack :

at Telerik.JustTrace.AddIn.JustTraceAddInBase.#nH(Object sender, UnhandledExceptionEventArgs e) in c:\B\Minotaur\JustTrace CI Build\Sources\Telerik.JustTrace.AddIn\JustTraceAddInBase.cs:line 64

Hope this helps.

edit: I also use TFS, if that matters.

Hi Yohan,

Thank you for your feedback. We work on a similar issue on Windows XP and we plan to release new beta version this week. The new version provides many fixes especially for Windows XP. I will let you know when we ship it.

We have just released a new JustTrace Beta Version. We have worked on the problem you've reported and hopefully it is fixed. Please try our new Beta version and let us know whether you still have this problem. We will appreciate any other issue feedback as well.

Hi,

Unfortunately, JustTrace version 2011.1.530.1 still crashes when I try to debug an ASP.NET Website. It doesn't crash right away - usually a few seconds (10-20) after the page is done rendering in the browser.

I attached the error dialogs to this post.

Also, something that I forgot to mention in my previous post: I use Windows XP French and my regional settings are set to English-US (in case that matters).

If I get the chance, I'll try JustTrace on another machine or with another project.

First, we would like to thank you for being part of the early adopters of JustTrace and to encourage you to share your thoughts on the product, features you would like to see, etc.

Now back to the issue reported - it is already resolved. Nevertheless, we appreciate your effort and the time spent on reporting it. Expect the next beta or the official release.
