One of the best practices is "Current Iteration Has Stories With No Tasks". This is an excellent metric and TeamPulse is the only tool I have seen that has anything like this kind of Static Analysis of projects to help people learn and enforce best practices. Kudos on that. :-)

My question is I am planning my work for the next project by creating stories now and assigning acceptance criteria. I would like to know if I have any stories that do not have acceptance criteria. There appears to be no way to do this.  I tried moving my project up, but I'm getting application errors and it is not registering.

Hi Charles,

Thanks for the good words. I'm glad that you like the product.

Unfortunately there is no way to see which stories doesn't have acceptance criteria except with the Best practice analyzer. We have request for custom rules - User will be able to change or write custom rules so I'll give it one more vote from you.

You can change the start and end of your iteration and if today is between them the iteration will be become current and best practice will evaluate the stories.

I didn't understand how you receive the exception. Can you explain a little bit more?

Another options it to use directly our oData service and write a query that will show you the stories that doesn't have acceptance criteria.

Kind regards,
