Hi,
I am using silverlight version 3 Beta component. I have created my theme ( MyCustomTheme.dll) as per the sample project supplied by telerik ( This includes just changing brushes in Common.Xaml file And rebuilding the Dll).
How do I apply this theme/skin to my application?

Hi Toshendra,
Unfortunately, our current theming mechanism does not support the Silverlight 3 runtime. We will support the latest runtime after it is officially released by Microsoft, so this will most probably come with our Q3 release. I hope the lack of theming support for SL3 is not a show-stopper for you.
Let me know if you have other questions.

Hi Toshendra,
The theming mechanism in RadControls for Silverlight does not support the Silverlight 3 runtime - this is valid for both the current release of the controls, as well as all previous releases. We are planning to include theming support for Silverlight 3 in our Q3 2009 release, which is due around October.
In case you are interested in applying your custom theme to a Silverlight 2 application, let me know and I will provide an example.
All the best,

Hi Toshendra,
Please refer to the following article which describes how to edit theme brushes in Expression Blend:
http://www.telerik.com/help/silverlight/radcontrols-silverlight-edit-theme-brushes.html
The article is pretty straightforward, so I believe you should have no problems editing the brushes from our default themes.
Best wishes,

I was more interested in making my custom theme dll, not changing the theme in the application it self.
I guess that is not possible with telerik controls.
Thanks Anyway, I will give it a go
